This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your personal information when you use our Service. By using Bookle, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Google User Data
When you connect your Google account to Bookle, we request access to your Google Calendar data. Specifically, we access:
- Calendar events and availability — to display your available time slots to meeting prospects
- Event creation and management — to create, update, and delete calendar events for meetings booked through Bookle
- Google Meet link generation — to create video conferencing links for scheduled meetings
We do not access your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Contacts, or any other Google services beyond Calendar. Your Google Calendar data is used solely for the purposes described above and is not sold, shared with third parties for advertising, or used for any purpose unrelated to the Bookle service.
Revoking Access
You may revoke Bookle's access to your Google account at any time by:
- Disconnecting your Google account in your Bookle account settings
- Visiting Google's Security Settings and removing Bookle
Upon revocation, we will cease accessing your Google Calendar data. Previously created meeting events will remain on your calendar but will no longer be managed by Bookle.
Bookle's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use personal information for the following purposes:
- Providing and operating the Bookle platform
- Scheduling meetings and managing calendar availability
- Processing payments and payouts through Stripe
- Verifying meeting attendance via recordings
- Powering AI chat features via OpenAI
- Sending transactional emails (confirmations, receipts, notifications)
- Improving the Service and developing new features
- Preventing fraud and enforcing our Terms of Service
- Complying with legal obligations
4. Third-Party Services
We share data with the following third-party services, each of which has its own privacy policy:
- Google (OAuth, Calendar API) — Authentication and calendar access. Google Privacy Policy
- Stripe (Checkout, Connect) — Payment processing and payouts. Full card numbers are stored by Stripe, not Bookle. Stripe Privacy Policy
- Recall.ai — Meeting recording and attendance verification. Meeting audio/video is processed by Recall.ai for the sole purpose of verifying attendance.
- OpenAI — Powers AI chat features. Conversation data sent to OpenAI's API is not used by OpenAI for model training (per their API data usage policy).
- Resend — Email delivery for transactional emails (confirmations, notifications, receipts).
- Vercel — Hosting and infrastructure. Server logs may include IP addresses and request metadata.
5. Meeting Recording & Attendance Verification
Meetings scheduled through Bookle may be recorded using automated technology (provided by Recall.ai) for the sole purpose of verifying meeting attendance. By scheduling or accepting a meeting through Bookle, all participants acknowledge and consent to the recording of the meeting.
A recording notification will be provided at the beginning of each recorded meeting. If any participant does not consent to recording, they should leave the meeting immediately. In such cases, attendance may not be verified and payment incentives may not be disbursed.
Meeting recordings are stored securely and retained for 30 days following the meeting date, after which they are automatically deleted. Recordings are not used for any purpose other than attendance verification and are not shared with any third party except as required by law.
Important: Recording laws vary by jurisdiction. Some states and countries require all-party consent to recording. By using Bookle, you represent that you understand and will comply with all applicable recording consent laws in your jurisdiction.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share personal data only in the following circumstances:
- With the third-party services listed in Section 4, as necessary to operate the Service
- With meeting counterparties — prospects see your available time slots (not your underlying calendar details)
- When required by law, legal process, or government request
- To protect the rights, safety, or property of Bookle, our users, or the public
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with notice to you)
7. Data Retention
- Account data: Retained until you delete your account, plus a reasonable period for backup and compliance purposes
- Meeting recordings: Automatically deleted 30 days after the meeting date
- Payment and financial records: Retained as required by tax law (typically 7 years)
- Usage data: Retained for up to 24 months for analytics and service improvement
- AI chat conversations: Retained for the duration of your account
When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
8. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Rights (CCPA)

- Right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data
- Right to data portability
- Right to restrict or object to processing
